We’ve got 501(c)3 Status!

We are delighted to share with you the news that the Gleaning Project has just received notification that we now have 501 (c) (3) Status from the IRS! This means that we are officially a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, something we’ve been working towards for over a year.

We want to thank the legal team at Katten for their help with our extensive form submission process (and a special shoutout to Delaney Battle, who patiently shepherded us through to the end). We couldn’t have done this without you!

Soon, we will finalize the process for receiving tax-deductible donations directly through our website. Stay tuned!
