Interconnected Community

The opening reception for Net Works: Structures of Mutuality was a great success, thanks to you, our lovely community. We once again filled the room at Neighbor, the community space provided by our wonderful friends and supporters at the Storefront Church.

During the event, we had the chance to hear from Noemia Marinho, our founder and Artistic Director, as well as from Mercy Trouwborst, who came to speak on behalf of the All Angels’ Church Pathways Program, one of our partner organizations. They were both interviewed by Florence Cheng, who is on the Gleaning Project’s Board. Mercy shared about the impact the Gleaning Project has on its participants, and how the increase in community and care in the life of someone navigating hardship enables them to better face all aspects of their life.
